The love of God makes us hate sin.
Overcoming the love of sin can be achieved by growing to love God above all other loves. This is God's greatest Commandment after all. Not only can we do this we must.
Having this real love for God, we will naturally develop the fear of the Lord, which is the fear of disappointing God. The more love - the more fear, and the hatred of sin.
Sin has no place, in loving God.
